Remembrance Day is a memorial day for those who served and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict and peace. It is celebrated annually on November 11 to recall the end of the First World War hostilities at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. Remembrance Day is a statutory holiday in British Columbia.
